Pehr-Edwin af Enehielm, Helsinki city mail

Helsinki city mail, an internal mail transport network founded by pharmacists operated from 1866 to 1891 and had its own stamps, letterboxes and staff. The collection Helsingin kaupunginposti (Helsinki city mail) was purchased for the Postal Museum in 1956 from Irene af Enehielm, widow of Pehr-Edwin af Enehielm. The exhibition collection contains 77 exhibition sheets and includes stamps, stampsheets and consignments from 1866–1890, as well as franco-envelopes and correspondence cards (Korrespondenskort) from 1874 to 1891.
